Sign up today by calling Claremont at 1-800-834-3773Sexual harassment of employees or applicants is bad business for many compelling reasons all organizations should have a sound policy and practice of sexual harassment prevention. As part of that program, this module can serve as the content for annual training. It covers not only the law, but the practical implications of sexual harassment, what to do if you observe questionable behavior, how to submit and complaint, and how to respond to a complaint. This module should be part of every organization's mandatory training program.

Course Content

The module covers these topics and more:

  • Why Sexual Harassment Is Bad Business
  • The Law: Federal, state and organizational policies
  • The EEOC Sexual Harassment Guidelines
  • Types of Sexual Harassment " Employee Do's and Don'ts
  • Manager/Supervisor's Do's and Don'ts

Audience:

All employees should participate in this program on an annual basis. There are two versions: one for all employees, and supplemental information for managers and supervisors. The manager version is more explicit with regard to managerial responsibilities, how to respond to a sexual harassment complaint, and manager do's and don'ts


Timing:

This module can be presented with a minimum of one hour, preferably longer. The manager version takes longer and should include more in-depth discussion.
