Counseling:
Claremont offers in-person, confidential, counseling. Three, five and
eight visit plans are available. Additional visits not covered by the
EAP are available at Claremont's negotiated rates.
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)/Conflict Resolution:
CISD services to respond to emergency situations (e.g. natural disasters,
death of a co-worker, etc.) are provided. Conflict resolution services
to assist with disputes between employees are also available. 2-8 hours
included per contract year. Additional services are available on a
fee-for-service basis.
Legal Consultation: An initial 30-minute consultation is provided
at no cost. A 25% discount is available for any service beyond the initial
consultation. Depending upon the issue and personal preference, telephonic
or in-person consultations are available. Attorneys have expertise in
areas such as family law, consumer issues, traffic violations and personal
injury, etc. Free "Simple Will" kits are available upon request. *
Financial Consultation: Financial specialists are available to
assist employees/family members with budgeting, retirement planning, debt
consolidation, financial planning, stock option plans, auto and real estate
purchasing, etc. Free credit reports are available upon request. *
Medical Advice Line: Employees/family members are provided with
direct access to Board Certified physicians who are available to answer
general medical questions. Physicians routinely answer questions regarding
Surgical Procedures, Drug Interactions, Basic First Aid, Nutrition, Herbal
Supplements and more. The Medical Advice Line may be accessed up to three
times a year, per family, at no cost.
Dependent Care Consultation and Referral: Nationwide referrals
for child/elder care are provided. A Dependent Care Specialist consults
with each employee/family member to generate a customized report, which
provides a listing of appropriate agencies/services and other helpful
written information.
Community Resources: A free referral service to low or no cost
community resources is available. The service assists employees/family
members by providing information on support groups, 12- step meetings,
medical and mental health topics, inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities,
and more.
Employee and Manager Orientations: On-site orientation meetings
are provided for all employees. Trainings to help managers take advantage
of Claremont's consultative resources are available. Travel charges
may apply.
Management/Human Resources Consultation: Expert consultation, intervention
and on-going case follow-up are available for problem employee situations.
The Claremont consultants have expertise in behavioral health, organizational
systems, progressive discipline, employment law and human resources. The
telephonic consultation is unlimited for managers and HR staff. Additional
on-site services not included in the EAP are available on a fee-for-service
basis.
Seminars/Trainings/Health Fairs: Seminars include Stress Management,
Surviving the Holidays, Communication Skills, Dealing with Difficult People,
Balancing Work and Family, Coping with Change, and other topics on request.
Trainings include, Drug Free Workplace, Workplace Violence Prevention,
Sexual Harassment, Diversity and other topics on request. A Claremont
representative is also available to participate in company sponsored health
fairs. 2-8 hours included per contract year. Additional services are
available on a fee-for-service basis.
