Claremont offers client employers extremely valuable consultative resources
on pertinent issues such as:
Trauma Response
Program
Managers can arrange for expert critical incident stress debriefing for
employee groups, for training to help managers deal with employee reactions
to traumatic events, or for intervention by our workplace violence experts.
Organizational Policy Consultation:
Integration of EAP into existing employer policies and procedures. Development
and review of drug/alcohol policy, workplace violence policy, harassment
policy, and diversity policy.
Management/Human Resources Consulting:
Expert consultation,
intervention and on-going case follow-up is available for problem employee
situations. The Claremont consultants have expertise in behavioral health,
organizational systems, progressive discipline, employment law and human
resources. The telephonic consultation is unlimited for managers and HR
staff. Additional on-site services not included in the EAP are available
on a fee-for-service basis.
"Formal" Counseling Referrals:
Formal referrals require a 'release of information' document, legally
permitting communication among employees, managers, and EAP counselors.
Typically, these cases involve work performance issues. Claremont provides
consultation and training to managers regarding the formal referral process.
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD):
CISD services to respond to emergency situations and assist employees
in coping after a traumatic incident (e.g. acts of personal, company or
national violence, death of a co-worker, robbery, natural disaster, etc.).
Conflict Resolution:
Conflict resolution services assist with disputes between co-workers,
supervisor/co-worker, and management. These on-site services, provided
by expert Claremont staff, help resolve inter and intra-departmental conflicts,
racial tensions, employee grievances, etc.
Workplace Violence Prevention Program:
Claremont has developed a comprehensive workplace violence program with
preventative services, as well as services to respond in person to situations
of potential and actual violence. The program includes telephone and on-site
consultation for cases of actual or potential violence. Contracted experts
are also available to provide in-person risk assessments, security services,
and legal consultation as needed, on a fee-for service basis.
Sexual Harassment/Diversity Training:
Training for employees and managers regarding sexual harassment and promoting
diversity in the workplace. Training is customized to meet each employer's
needs and is offered by experienced clinicians. Click here to learn more about out training programs.
